Pupils (and staff) are organised into four houses, each named after an historical British figure: Churchill, Nightingale, Nelson and Boudicca. Every term, the pupils elect a House Captain and Vice Captain, whose responsibilities range from running assemblies to organising sports matches. Children in Key Stage Two are awarded house merit points for good work and behaviour. On Sports Day and Marathon Day, the children compete to collect points for their House and a trophy is awarded to the winning House each year.
